We are very pleased and excited that our planning application has been submitted to the Council, pre-Christmas as promised.
Everyone at Chase New Homes and all our consultants worked very hard and very quickly to ensure a high quality, robust submission that will be a fantastic regeneration project for the town.
We hope that the Council play their part in working proactively and pragmatically in processing the application and issuing planning permission so we can get spades in the ground as early as possible in 2020.
The description of the proposal is as follows:
Mixed use re-development comprising partial demolition of existing buildings and replacement with up to 3479.40 square metres of commercial floorspace (Use Classes A1-A4, B1, D1 & D2), an 86-bed hotel (Use Class C1), upto 100 residential apartments (use class C3), alterations to an existing car park, new bus station facilities and associated works and improvements.
