We are delighted to announce that planning permission has been gained for full details of 153 new-build properties on The Broxbourne School site.
A Special Meeting of the Planning & Regulatory Committee was convened in July to consider our housing proposals and also small changes to the school. We are delighted that the committee voted unanimously in favour of both proposals.
The scheme constitutes enabling development with proceeds being cycled directly into building a replacement school which will provide modern facilities, including a community leisure hub, and will be a significant improvement for staff and pupils and serve the wider community.
The scheme comprises a mix of traditional family housing and apartments for private sale in a landscaped setting, with local amenities and train station within walking distance.
